The BBQ 101 Class is taught by instructors who have achieved top honors in any of the meat categories during the previous year’s Team of the Year program. In cases where the primary instructor is unavailable, we will assign the next highest-ranking team to lead the class.

Waiver of Liability: By submitting the form the student agrees to all rules and regulations given by the GLBBQA and it’s instructors. The student agrees to hold GLBBQA Instructors and Four Points Sheraton-Kalamazoo harmless for any injury or damages which may occur during the class. In consideration of acceptance of this Registration, / (student), intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives, or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the instructor and agents, resulting in personal injury, accidents or illness (including death), and property loss arising from, but not limited to, participation in the cooking class. I hereby consent to be filmed, photographed, or recorded while in this class. I understand that the footage, images, or audio may be used for educational, promotional, or commercial purposes by the Great Lakes BBQ Association or its affiliates, partners, or assignees. I waive all rights to approve or inspect the material and receive any compensation for its use.
